Overview
This Knowledge Base article discusses exiting (removing) existing clients from a service. The client will first need to be added to a service: Add Existing Client to a Service.
☑️ Requirements/Dependencies
Before users are able to add clients to a service, waitlist or exit a client:
They must have a valid ShareVision login
The user’s roles must have access to the Add to Service and Exit from Service Buttons

A client is active in a service when they have a start date but no exit date. Clients can be exited from a service in by inputting an exit date in the following areas of your site:
The Client Contact Info Page Part
The Participants Page Part in a Service
The Clients Portal
The Participant’s Service History Page
The Service’s Service History page
Exit Client from a Service via the Client Contact Info Page Part
Click the Clients Portal

Select the Client you’d like to place in a service

Navigate to the Client Details Page

Locate the Client Contact Info Page Part. Note that the Client Contact Info Page Part may be in a different location on your site
Click Add to Service

Select the Service for which you want to add the client. Only Services the client is not currently active in or waitlisted for will appear in the drop-down

Click Finish

Navigate to the Service Details Page

Locate the Participants Page Part. Note that your ShareVision site may have a different location for the Page Part.

Click Add Client

The Add Client Wizard will appear, search for the client you want to add to the service
Once the individual has been located in the search, press the Add to Service Button beside their name

The Client and Service fields will be automatically filled in as we begin the process in the applicable services Participants Page Part (step 1-4)
Enter a Start Date

Use the search bar to locate the client you’d like to add to a service

Once the client is found, click the three dots beside their name and then click add to service

A new Page will appear. Select the service you’d like to add the client to in the Service drop down. Note: only Services the client is not currently in or waitlisted for will appear in the drop down.

Enter a Start Date
Click Finish

The Service History Page will typically have three Page Parts - Active Clients, Waitlist, and Exited Clients

All three Page Parts use Service History as the data source, for this reason, a user can click the Add History button on either of the Active Clients or Waitlist Page Parts as it will be an entry in the same list, how the entry is filled will determine whether the client is active or waitlisted.
Click Add Service History

Select a client from the Client drop-down

Add a Start Date - this will add the client directly to the Service, not the Waitlist
Click Save
