Service
A client is
active in a service when they have a
start date
but no
exit date.
Clients can be added to a
service in
five different areas
of your site:
The Client Contact Info Page Part
The Participants Page Part in a Service
The Clients Portal
The Participant’s Service History Page
The Service’s Service History page
Add Existing Client to
a Service from the Client Contact Info
Page Part
Click the Clients Portal
Select the Client you’d like to place in a service
Navigate to the Client Details Page
Locate the Client Contact Info Page Part
. Note that the Client Contact Info Page Part
may be in a different location on your site
Click Add to Service
Select the Service for which you want to add the client. Only Services the client
Add the Referral Date, do NOT enter a Start Date - this will add the client directly to the Service, not the Waitlist.
Click Finish
Once saved, you will see the waitlisted service displayed under the Service Waitlist field on the Client Contact Info Page Part
The Client will also be visible on the Participants Page Part for the waitlisted Service.
A user can identify a waitlisted client on the Participants Page Part by either using the Show All, Active, Waitlist toggle at the top of the Page Part
or by hovering over the buttons beside the client. A waitlisted client will have both the Add to Service and Remove from Waitlist buttons beside their name, clients in the service will only have an Exit Service button
Add to Waitlist from the Services Participants Page Part
Navigate to the applicable Service Participants Page Part, typically found on the Service Details Page (Services Portal → Select Service → Participants Page Part)is not currently active in or waitlisted for will appear in the drop-down
Add a Start Date
Click Finish
Add Existing Client to a Service from the Service's Participants Page Part
Click the Services Portal
Select the Service you wish to add the client to
Navigate to the Service Details Page
Locate the Participants Page Part. Note that your ShareVision site may have a different location for the Page Part.
Click Add Client
The Add Client Wizard will appear, search for the client you want to add to
the service
Once the individual has been located in the search, press the Add to Service Button beside their name
The Client and Service fields will be automatically filled in as we
begin the process in the applicable services Participants Page Part (step 1-4)
Enter a
Click Finish
You will be redirected to the Service Details Page where the process was started and the waitlisted client will now appear in the services Participants Page Part
The waitlisted service will also appear on the client’s Client Contact Info Page Part in the Service Waitlist field
Add to a Service
Clients can either be added directly to a service, or they can first be put on the waitlist and later added to the service when space allows.
Add Client to a Service (Not from Waitlist)
Follow the steps from the Add to Waitlist section of this article, instead of adding a Referral date, add a Start Date. A Referral Date can also be added if needed, but is not mandatory.
Once a client has been added to a service, it will appear in the Services field of the Client Contact Info Page Part
The client will also appear in theStart Date
Click Finish
Add Existing Client to a Service from the Clients Portal
Click the Clients Portal
Use the search bar to locate the client you’d like to add to a service
Once the client is found, click the three dots beside their name and then click add to service
A new Page will appear. Select the service you’d like to add the client to in the Service drop down. Note: only Services the client is not currently in or waitlisted for will appear in the drop down.
Enter a Start Date
Click Finish

Click the Clients Portal
Select the client you’d like to place in a service
Click the Service History Page
Click Add History
Select the service you’d like add the client to in the Service drop down.

Select the Service you wish to add the client to
Click the Service History Page
The Service History Page will typically have three Page Parts - Active Clients, Waitlist, and Exited Clients
All three Page Parts use Service History as the data source, for this reason, a user can click the Add History button on either of the Active Clients or Waitlist Page Parts as it will be an entry in the same list, how the entry is filled will determine whether the client is active or waitlisted.
Click Add Service History
Select a client from the Client drop-down
Add a Start Date - this will add the client directly to the Service, not the Waitlist
Click Save
Viewing the Services a Client is Active in
Once a client has been entered into a service through one of the five areas of your ShareVision site listed above, there are a two places a user can verify the client is active in the service: the client’s Client Contact Info Page Part and a services Participants Page Part.
The Client Contact Info Page Part
Any Services a client is active in will appear in the Services field on the Client Contact Info Page Part. Below, we can see that Brown, Mary is active in the services Seaside Home and Online Book Club
The Participants Page Part
All participants currently active or waitlisted in a service will appear on the services Participants Page Part, typically found on the Service Details Page (Services Portal → Select Service → Service Details Page → Participants Page Part. Note that your ShareVision site may have a different location for the Page Part.
