About - People and Groups
People and Groups: Managers, shown in the image, is the default home page for the People and Groups list. Groups listed on the left-side navigation bar display their members on the right, in the main content area. Names of group members are drawn from the Staff list. For the Managers group, that means members must be added to both the Staff and the Managers security groups.
The People and Groups list stores all your site's existing security groups and their corresponding site-level permissions, as well as the names of all users and their user account information.
