How to update Quickstart Individual Details Links
Step-by-step guide
PART 1 – Hide links for everyone (not-in-use)
- Go to all site content – Quickstart Individual Details Link
2. Pick a Link to a form that you don’t plan to use. This example is using “Asset Management”. Open the link in “Edit”
3. Un-tick the box “Show for all Individuals” and that will open up the option to “Show for Only individuals in these Program and Residences” and “ Show only for these Individuals”. Leave everything “blank”, and Click OK
PART 2 – Hide links for everyone except Side Administrators (Or any specific group)
- Go to all site content – Quickstart Individual Details Links
2. Pick a Link that you only want a specific security group of users to access. We’ll use individuals Documents for our example. Mouse over the Name of the link and select “Manage Permissions”.
3. Select Actions → Edit Permissions
4. Click all groups you want to remove permission for and click Action - → Remove User Permissions
5. On the Warning message click Okay
6. Use the "Breadcrumbs" link to go back to the Individual Details Links
7.Edit the item for the Individuals Details Links to add a note about the permissions that have been set.
