Overview

Set Theme allows Site Administrators to pick between several pre-set themes to change the look of your ShareVision site, as well as an option for the way forms are displayed.




Requirements/Dependencies

  • Login with ShareVision Administrator permissions



How to Access

  1. Login to ShareVision with a user account that has Site Administrator permissions. 
  2. Select the gear in the upper right hand corner and then select Site Administration:
  3. When prompted, enter your ShareVision Administrator username and password and select Sign In.
  4. In Site Administration, select Set Theme in the ShareVision Settings section:                                                         
  5. The Set Theme Page will appear                                                                                                                                 


How to Adjust the Theme

  1. Once at the Set Theme Page, select the Load Theme dropdown to view the different themes available. An example of the selected theme will display on the image below the dropdown.
  2. The Show Quickstart Background checkbox allows users to decide if they'd like a background to display behind the Quickstart menu, when the checkbox is selected the background will appear on the example image.                                                                                                                                                                         
  3. When the Show QuickStart Background checkbox is selected there are several options of what users would like the background to display: Triangles, Hexagons, Hands, or People. The Choose a background dropdown will display each of these selections on the example image when selected.                                            
  4. The Large Quickstart Scrollbar dictates if a user would like the standard (smaller) scrollbar on their QuickStart menu or a larger version. The image on the left is what the scrollbar would look like when the box is unchecked, the image on the right is the scrollbar with the Large QuickStart scrollbar checked.                                 
  5. Once satisfied with the look of your site theme, select the Save as Active Theme button on the bottom of the Set Theme page                                            




How to Adjust Form Layout

The Standard Form Layout on a ShareVision site is to have all portions of the form aligned the same, headers and sections. Adding form section to a list can be done using the instructions here for form extensions and here for form headers

The New Form Layout has indentations and an alignment which more clearly define what is included in each section, providing an easier viewing experience. 

To activate the New Form Layout,


  1. select the New Form Layout checkbox
  2. Then, press Set as Active Theme
