Page-Part - Create an Unfiltered Page-Part

Overview

Where there is a case to present data/forms of multiple Individuals or Programs and/or Residences (that is, presenting information not filtered by one or more unique Entity) the Site Administrator can create an Unfiltered Page-Part. An Unfiltered Page-Part can be created also to display records of a list where there is no Individual, Program or Residence column/field usually used for filtering purposes.

This Page-Part configuration allows the display and access to all records of a particular list/table.


Step-by-step guide


Decide where to place the Unfiltered Page-Part

  1. Navigate to Settings > Site Administration > Configure Portal Settings
  2. On the tree-view on the left, Click on the Portal where you wish to display the Unfiltered Page-Part.
  3. Either;
    1. Click on a Page where you wish to display the Unfiltered Page-Part...OR
    2. Create a new Page where you wish to display the Unfiltered Page-Part.
  4. Click 'New Page-Part'


Configure the Unfiltered Page-Part

The most important point to remember is to omit any filtering configuration.

  1. Configure the Page-Part as described in Portals, Pages and Page Parts: Creating and Deleting
  2. DO NOT select one or more of the following;
    1. List type Page-Part
      1. Data Source (section)
        1. Content Type
        2. Filter Field
      2. Additional Filters Fields (section)
        1. Ensure no additional filtering queries are set.
