Security Manager: Case Management v4

Applies To Version(s): 4

Overview

The Security Manager for case management is a way for a user to have permissions to a specific individual.  When users are added to the "Case Worker" field, code runs to grant those users permissions to that person.

Case Worker works well for agencies who assign users to work with specific individuals. It can also be used to grant permissions to non-staff users who only get to see specific individuals - like parents, nurses or caregivers.

How-to

Assign a staff member to only see specific individuals in a program

  1. Create the Program
  2. Create a group for Case-management staff for the program
  3. Give that group access to the program in the Security Manager for Programs and Residences
  4. Check individual wizard permissions – do not give this group access (remove it if this group is added)
  5. Assign each staff to individuals using “Case Worker” field in Individual Profile

  6. Test as Case Management staff user
