Enabling a User
Any user listed in the Enable a User section has tried to login incorrectly with the wrong password three times. After the third failed attempt to login, the login screen will refresh and the user will be prompted to enter their User Name. If they enter their User Name and then select Request Password Reset, the system will send an email to the email address associated with their account. The email will include a link that the user can select to reset their password.
If the user chooses not to reset their own password, then their account which was automatically disabled by the system after their third failed attempt to login will be listed in the Enable a User section.
- To enable an account that has been disabled after three failed login attempts, select the user from the Enable User drop down list in the Enable Account section.
- Next, select Enable Account.
- Once enabled, the user will be able to use their account as before.
