Correct the Spelling of a Contact Name

If a person’s name has been entered incorrectly into ShareVision or if it has changed for another reason (i.e. marriage) it can be corrected by following these steps. Please note – the spelling of the name is set in the People list. The people list can only be accessed by an administrator. If the spelling error is for a supported individual you need to do the additional step to edit their “My Documents Folder” to match.

Editing/deleting a contact, including editing/deleting supported individuals, may involve editing/deleting the contact's name or their profile or both. Edit/delete a contact's name This is done from the People list. Note: A contact's name appearing in the Profiles list is still edited in the People list. Edit a contact's profile Staff can edit an individual's profile from the individual Details page. For Administrators/Managers, there are two additional options:
Delete a contact Contacts are deleted first from the Profiles list, then from the People list. |
