Add a Choice Column with Rating Options

Using a choice column in a list, you can create rating options which can help to capture the respondent’s feelings or opinions.

To add this to a list:

1. Navigate to the list settings and create a new choice column
   Click path: Site Administration >> View All Lists and Libraries >> Search for the list >> Select List Settings for the list you would like to add a

2. Enter the column name and description
   Click path: In List Settings, select Create Column >>Enter a Column Name (or question) >> Select Choice Column

3. For each choice option enter one of the rating options

   For example, you can use this 5 star rating
   ☆☆☆☆★ - 1 star
   ☆☆☆★★ - 2 stars
   ☆☆★★★ - 3 stars
   ☆★★★★ - 4 stars
   ★★★★★ - 5 stars

4. Once you have completed the column setup, select OK to save it

5. The list can then be added to a List PagePart or can be set up as an Anonymous Form
