Money Add-On

Overview


The Money add-on displays a ledger account on-screen with a running balance of Income and Expense items. It is often used to track petty cash of an Individual.

Requirements for the Money Add-On

  • You must have purchased this add-on.

  • You must have a user account to login.
  • You must have security permissions granted to access the Individual Details Page of the Individual you wish to view, add or edit Money items for.

Navigate to the Money Add-On

You will find the Money link under the Forms section of an Individuals page, Program page or Residence page.

The Money page will have a listing of income and expenses and a running balance total at the bottom:

How to use the Money Add-On

Add an entry

  1. Click the 'add new item link', complete appropriate fields in the form and click 'OK'.

Edit an entry

  1. Click the 'View' link of the item you wish to edit, click 'Edit item', edit appropriate fields in the form and click 'OK'.

Delete an entry

Note: this action is only permissible if the logged in user has appropriate permissions on the Money list.

  1. Click the 'View' link of the item you wish to edit, click 'Delete item'.


Archiving or removing historical items will affect the current balance being displayed for an Individual. If removing (archiving) items from the Money list, first calculate the difference removal will effect. Remove the items and then create an item on the Money list to compensate their removal.
