Overview
You can embed a video in a HTML PagePart which will allow your users to play the video on the Page where this HTML PagePart has been added.
Requirements/Dependencies
- Login with ShareVision Administrator permissions
- In Site Administration, in View All Lists and Libraries, have an Announcement List that you would like to add to a Page.
- Have a video uploaded to an online video service such as YouTube or Vimeo where you can copy the embed code for the video.
- In Configure Portal Settings, have added a HTML PagePart to a Page on a Portal.
How-to
Steps to Embed a Video using an HTML PagePart:
- Create a new PagePart and select HTML
- Set desired Permissions
- Go to the video you wish to embed. If on Youtube, select Share, then Embed, and copy the code seen. .

- On the ShareVision site, click Insert and select Insert Video.
- Select Embed in the Pop-up
- Paste the code you copied in Step 3 and press OK.
- Click Save
Your HTML PagePart with Embedded Video will now appear and can be played on the page.
