About - List/Document Library Settings


List/Document Library Settings is where all list/library details and permissions are managed. Settings pages are generally only accessible by administrators and by users with permissions that enable access to All Site Content. Exceptions may occur when new lists and libraries are created without a corresponding filter page view.  Settings are divided into sections.  Click on a section in the List Settings/Document Library Settings image for more information.



Getting Here - List/Document Library Settings


  1. Open a list or document library from the All Site Content page.
  2. Open the List Toolbar Settings menu or the Document Library Toolbar Settings menu.
  3. Select List Settings or Document Library Settings.
