How to continue creating a new user when error 'Username is already taken" is displayed

Step-by-step guide

1) If you are trying to create a new username but are getting the error message "A user with the user name already exists" but the username does NOT exists in your organization, please be advised that ALL Sharevision users share a common pool of user names and this name is already taken on another site 

2) To successfully create the new user, simply add a middle initial. In the example above I would change the user name to bobsJ.uncle.
